academician Barry J. Porter
has more than 36 years of teaching experience in the United Kingdom,

regulatory body set up by the British Government, wrote in its

Barry is an
advisor for newly qualified teachers in the schools of the Church of
England, which has nearly 150 educational institutes in the United
Kingdom. Barry is a regular member of the panel for interviewing
teachers for the London Diocesan Board for Schools, a Christian
organisation committed to support and nurture the 149 Church of
England schools and academies. He has visited schools in many
countries and regularly participates in seminars. |

Dr. Mark Paul Leach is a highly accomplished engineering lecturer and research associate at Northumbria University, Newcastle, United Kingdom, Dr Mark Paul Leach is an acclaimed technical writer, speaker, and co-author of an extensive list of papers and publications. He has been awarded a doctor of philosophy (Ph.D) degree by the British university for his highly specialised research work on the method for holographic measurement of microwave antenna radiation patterns.

He completed his B. Eng. (Honours) degree in electrical and electronic engineering Degree from the same university and received the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers (IEEE) prize for the best communications-based project. Dr Mark has won the prestigious Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award and is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) and the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers -- the world's leading professional association for the advancement of technology. Widely travelled and read, Dr Mark is keen to learn about different cultures and people. He loves sports including squash and badminton and annually takes part in the Great North Run to raise money for cancer research.

Barani Krishnan has been an international correspondent with two of the world’s best-known news agencies over the last two decades, and brings to the Laurels Group a highly-analytical approach to learning gleaned from his years in journalism. Barani has worked with Agence France-Presse (AFP), the Paris-based news agency with bureaus in more than 100 countries, and Reuters, the London-based media giant for financial markets. At Reuters, he did a wide array of financial reporting and also lent to the file his already-established expertise in political and general news coverage.
Barani is currently based in New York as Reuters America’s Senior Correspondent. A passionate pursuer of the science of learning, this self-taught journalist has undertaken independent research on the effectiveness of sensory-based learning on early education, as espoused by legends such as Maria Montessori and Glen Dorman. His non-profit-based initiative has helped at least two early learning centers in his native Malaysia come up with better-crafted modules for teaching toddlers as young as 3 months.
Barani is also ardent fan of the performing arts, playing drums as a hobby since quitting a semi-professional stint as a musician in his early adulthood.
