The recipient of the National Award for Best Principal from India’s visionary President, Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam,
Dr. Arun Prakash has been at the helm of affairs of various institutions for more than 25 years. An alumnus of the prestigious Allahabad University, known as the Oxford of the East, Dr. Arun started teaching Chemistry at his Alma matter and later joined the DPS Society to lead five Delhi Public Schools in India and abroad.
Dr Arun has been the founder principal of four Delhi Public Schools (DPS Bongaigaon, Guwahati, Bilaspur and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia), besides being the principal at DPS Korba. Dr. Arun has conceived the plan of Pathway International School, Dubai, which is gearing up to start classes soon.
He is the founder chairman of Laurels India, an associate of Laurels Global, UK. He is a member of the National College of School Leadership, UK, the Educational Facility Planner Association, USA and many more international organisations. Widely-travelled and well read, he believes that children should love their school… All his efforts are directed towards this goal.

Hariharan Ramachandran has more than two decades of journalistic experience and is now the chief correspondent at Reuters India. New Delhi-based Hariharan specialises in macro economics, trade issues and commodities. Prior to joining Reuters, the world’s largest news
organization, he worked with the Press Trust of India, the country’s premier news agency.
Widely-travelled and well-educated Hariharan speaks four languages and takes part in various social and educational
programmers. He has been associated with several societies and organisations and regularly attends global conferences and seminar on various subjects.
